Hydroelectric Energy: Water is a driving force!

Hydroelectric projects use water as a driving force by exploiting the flow and height difference of a waterfall. A small hydro project may be connected to a mountain water intake without an upstream reservoir and dam or have a small reservoir to limit the flow regulation.
